Memmingen - Sightseeing

In this old town one can find houses of patricians, some in the baroque style, the Stadtbach (town river), parts of the town wall as well as a medieval market place and a town hall built in the renaissance style. Also famous is Memmingen's Martins church, built in gothic style.
Every year there is the Fischertag (day of the fishers), recreating medieval traditons. Every four years Memmingen re-enacts the events around the visit of Wallenstein in 1630.
