The Global Oneness Celebration

The Oneness Celebration during the Venus Transit of June 6-8 2004 takes place at an amazing gathering of energies in the Mayan calendar. In the age old Tzolkin calendar the venus transit has been celebrated without interruption by the Mayan people for some 2500 years.

June 6-8 is being promoted worldwide as the Global Oneness Celebration. Let us come together during this time in gatherings and prayers throughout the world to celebrate love and beauty, light and unity. Let us translate these energies into art, economics, culture, politics, education and ecology. Let us pray, each in our own way, for peace, healing, beauty, and global oneness! We will continue building the momentum on this same day for the next eight years until June 6, 2012, the date of the second venus transit.

The Global Oneness Commitment

The Global Oneness Commitment is an eight-year project with the goal of uniting people around the globe to mutual actions in order to not only save what we have, but to transform the planet thru an increase in spiritual awareness a new consciousness creating a joyful home for all its inhabitants and sincere respect for all forms of life.
The project is synchronised with the twin Venus Transits of 2004 and 2012. It starts with the first Venus transit of June 8th 2004 and ends with the second Transit June 6th 2012. The eight-year project is initiated by the Global Oneness Foundation based in Stockholm, Sweden, in association with the Times Foundation based in Delhi, India.

The world is not in need of a new religion or a new philosophy but in need of spiritual rejuvenation. All knowledge and wisdom needed to bring the world into a new era of inner and outer prosperity is already here and have been since ancient times. Lets face the fact that we are all dependent on each other and that we all has an individual responsibility for the well being of all life on the planet. We are all one and if one part of humanity is suffering the whole humanity will be reached by its consequences. This is not anything new. It has been known in ancient spiritual traditions all over our planet. By entering this well of wisdom we will see that we have always had much more uniting us than dividing us. The main objectives are to:

  • Co-create a vision of oneness, encouraging individuals, networks and organizations in their work for a happy world.
  • Support the preservation and restoration of ancient spiritual wisdoms and sciences residing in all cultures around the world.
  • Support all sorts of initiatives that unite people in mutual actions and projects aiming at creating global oneness.

Venus Transit

The Venus Transit of June 8, 2004 is clearly the astronomical event of the year. But it may be much, much more than that. The Venus Transit has always preceded great breakthroughs in human consciousness and played a very significant role in the Mayan Calendar. It is also a turning point in the Vedic tradition. According to the Indian avatar of enlightenment, Sri Kalki Bhagavan, the Venus Transit of 2004 will be the actual starting point of the Golden Age, a process that will come to an conclusion at the next Venus Transit in 2012.

The Venus Transit is not an ordinary astronomical event. It is one that has not occurred since 1882 and that no person living has previously experienced. It is also one that is clearly visible and experiential in nature. You do not have to read charts to realize its significance. The planet Venus will pass across the disc of the sun for a period of about seven hours and serve as a symbol of the unification of the masculine and feminine that in the time ahead is about to take place. Millions will acknowledge and honor the possibility for humankind that is now emerging.
