Mysticism:

(1) The doctrine or belief that direct knowledge of the God(s), o spiritual truth, of ultimate reality, or of comparable matters is attainable through immediate intuition, insight or illumination and in a way differing from ordinary sense perception or conscious thought.

ELEMENTS -

Charging - The act of empowering an herb stone or other magickal object with one's own energies directoed towards a magickal purpose.

SOLITARY: A Witch who practices Witchcraft or Wicca and worships alone rather than as a member of a coven. During the early growth of Witchcraft and Wicca in neo-Pagan circles one had to be initiated by another Witch, but as Craft traditions changed and became more liberal, it became acceptable to initiate one’s self.

Many solitaries have belonged to various covens and have decided they prefer being alone; others opt to be solitaries to protect their privacy.

HIGH PRIEST/ESS: Technically speaking, a Witch who has received the 3rd degree initiation. More usually, the male and female leaders of a coven.

FIVE FOLD KISS, FIVEFOLD SALUTE - the Witches ritual salute, with Kisses (1)on each foot. (2)on each knee (3) above the pubic hair (4)on each breast and (5) on the lips. Really 8 kisses in all. It is only used within the Circle, but the words that go with it are the origins of "Blessed Be"
