Spiritual Enlightenment - Kiara Windrider
Meet Kiara Windrider, a wonderfully warm being with an ability to explain and portray the mind, spiritual awakening and enlightenment from many different angles.
Kiara Windrider, MA, is a psychotherapist, and author of “Doorway to Eternity: A Guide to Planetary Ascension”. Along with his wife, Grace, he is dedicated to sharing the endless possibilities for personal and planetary enlightenment.
Among many other articles, Kiara has shared his personal experiences in a series of articles. The first one “Journey to Enlightenment” was written just two week after he got enlightened. The others are from his coming book ”Enlightenment 2012: Kalki and the Golden Age”.
enlightenment: For Saiva monists, Self Realization, samadhi without seed (nirvikalpa samadhi); the ultimate attainment, sometimes referred to as Paramatma darshana, or as atma darshana, "Self vision" (a term which appears in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras).
Enlightenment is the experience-nonexperience resulting in the realization of one's transcendent Self-Parasiva -which exists beyond time, form and space. Each tradition has its own understanding of enlightenment, often indicated by unique terms.

I have had an overwhelming response from people to my article on Kalki and enlightenment, and I thought that rather than respond individually I would respond to some of these questions collectively in a stream of consciousness kind of way.
In this article, Kiara Windrider, author of “A doorway to Eternity” share his experiences with the teachings of Golden Age Foundation headed by Kalki in India. Kiara Windrider was one of the teachers at the first Oneness Festival that took place August 2-8 2003.
The Oneness Festival is a collaboration between the Golden Age Foundation in India and the Experience Foundation in Sweden.

In this article Carl Johan Calleman predicts a unification of the modern expressions of some of the most advanced ancient traditions of the West and the East; the Mayan and the Vedic. In this unification it seems that it is the West, the Maya and some other Native American peoples, that is providing the calendrical knowledge about the cosmic plan, while it is the East, the Vedic and Buddhist traditions that is carrying the time-less wisdom of the Self. The practical unification of these thought systems and traditions is then brought about by all those that are taking a path towards Enlightenment And according to the Mayan calendar, the time for this is now.
Buddhist teachers to be relied upon after Shakyamuni Buddha's death. They are explained in the Nirvana and other sutras, which classify them into four ranks according to their level of understanding.
The first rank refers to the voice-hearers who have yet to attain any of the four stages of Hinayana enlightenment.
The second rank refers to those who have attained the first stage, that of the stream-winner (Skt srota-apanna ), or one who has entered the metaphorical river leading to nirvana; and to those the second stage, that of the once-returner (sakridagamin), or one who must undergo only one more rebirth in the human world before entering nirvana.
The third rank refers to those who have attained the third stage, that of non-returner (anagamin), or one who will never be reborn in this world.
The fourth rank refers to those who have eliminated the illusions of thought and desire and attained the fourth and highest stage, that of arhat.
T'ien-t'ai (538-597) and Chang-an (561-632) correlated the four ranks to the fifty-two stages of bodhisattva practice in The Profound Meaning of the Lotus Sutra and The Annotations on the Nirvana Sutra, respectively.
From this viewpoint,
persons of the first rank correspond to those who have not yet attained the first stage of security.
Persons of the second rank correspond to those in the ten stages of security.
Persons of the third rank correspond to those in the ten stages of practice and the ten stages of devotion.
Persons of the fourth rank correspond to those in the ten stages of development and the stage of near-perfect enlightenment, in which one has almost reached the enlightenment of the Buddha.
Though the four ranks represent the four levels of understanding, "the four ranks of sages" is also a general term for reliable Buddhist teachers, irrespective of how they fit into the above classification. If they are bodhisattvas, they are also referred to as the four ranks of bodhisattvas.

In this second chapter of Kiara Windriders new book; “Enlightenment 2012: Kalki and the Golden Age”, Kiara is meeting Kalki.
“Enlightenment is very easy”, ended Kalki as we left, “and everyone should get enlightened”. My hope is that this book will inspire many to do so. After all, he says, it is only the beginning of the true spiritual riches that are available to us as incarnated souls.

is by many separate sources of wisdom seen as being a portal into what
some people call the Golden Age. 2012 marks, according to the The Mayan
Calendar, the ending of Time as we know it and as something old die
something new will be born. The Mayan perspective of 2012 and the
current times we live in is very similar to the view of Kalki and the
Golden Age Foundation who is also co-organising the Oneness Festival.
The concept of a coming Golden Age is widely recognised among many spiritual authors, spiritual traditions and teachers.

According to Kalki, Earth will start entering the Golden Age, the age of enlightenment, in June 2004 during the Venus Transit.This process will come to a conclusion at the next venus transit in 2012.
The time in front of us, says Kalki, will be be filled with unprecedented changes, challenges and turmoil. It is not much mankind can do about it. But those who have worked on setting all their relationships right will have a much easier ride than others.
