Today we tell you the yogic way to healthy eyes

 

Yogic way of washing eyes.

-       First fill the mouth with water.

-       Then wash eyes with fresh water five to six times.

-       Now spit out the water from the mouth.

Kriya is a physical action. In Yog it is referred to as an action which is directed towards a complete being, towards attaining a balance. When an imbalance occurs in the body a specific energy is required to bring the body in balance.

Yoga Positions: Asanas for Asthma

Asthma is a disease that more and more people seem to be suffering from today. Many things trigger asthma - the main amongst those being: stress and anxiety, allergies and genetics. This yoga program seeks to tackle the root causes and work towards strengthening the immune system.

 

We will present asanas (postures), kriya (cleansing technique) and pranayama (breathing techniques) that strengthen, stretch and relax the body physically and re-balance internal systems at a deeper level. Yoga Positions: A Mudra For The Chest, Cold and Infection

The Linga mudra is said to make the body more resistant to colds and chest infections. Those who suffer from bad colds, incurable infections, congested chests and are prone to being affected adversely by the mildest changes in the weather, so they are advised to practise the Linga mudra. This mudra generates heat in the body and thus, while it "burns" away accumulated phlegm in the chest, it also makes the body more resilient to the cold.
